“Who the hell approved ‘Shake your money maker’ for a child lego float??,” asked one Twitter user after pop band Fitz and the Tantrums performed "Moneymaker" (which features the repeated lyric "shake your money maker") on the giant LEGO float at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

The performance and song choice, broadcasted by NBC, in front of children, sparked criticism online.
