Lancashire Tory MP defends PM after receiving police fine
Tory MP Scott Benton defends Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, who has been given a Fixed Penalty Notice for not wearing a seatbelt when filming an Instagram video from the back seat of a moving car.
The MP for Blackpool South who had criticised the police for investigating the case, plays down the fine by saying "a fixed penalty notice isnât a criminal offence".
