Govt announces women to get year's supply of HRT for £20
Women's Health Minister Maria Caulfield has announced women in England will be able to access cheaper hormone replacement therapy (HRT) for menopause through a new prescription prepayment certificate (PPC).
To be rolled out from 1 April 2023, the certificate will help around 400,000 women save hundreds of pounds a year, reducing their HRT costs to less than £20 a year.

Health minister, Maria Caulfield has said that it is “right and proper” that an investigation has been launched at the private central London hospital after it has been alleged that at least one member of staff tried to access Kate’s notes while she was a patient there in January. The Government has today announced expansion of its plan to get parents back to work, with 15 hours of weekly funded childcare now available for two-year-olds. Rishi Sunak said the conflict in Gaza "must end" as he addressed MPs in the House of Commons. The prime minister said he will be speaking to Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, to express solidarity and to discuss how we can prevent further escalation. "Nothing that has happened over the last 48 hours affects our position on Gaza. The whole country wants to see an end to the bloodshed and to see more humanitarian support going in," he added.

Foreign secretary Lord Cameron said he is "confident" the Rwanda bill will be passed by parliament this week. The legislation which is set to be passed declares Rwanda a safe country - after the Supreme Court blocked an earlier plan in November.
"If you can't send them directly back to France, the best thing to do is find another answer where people who come to Britain in that way can't stay in Britain. That's what the Rwanda plan is all about," Mr Cameron said.
