The 68-year-old actor has landed himself a new series.

He will host and executive produce a show for the History Channel called 'Kevin Costner's The West.'.

Historian Doris Kearns Goodwin will executive produce as well.

The docuseries will be eight episodes and explore aspects of the "Wild West.".
