Defence Minister says Rwanda policy will act as 'deterrent'
Defence Procurement Minister Alex Chalk says the Rwanda policy "sends a message" to those who cross the channel illegally in small boats "will have to face some consequences".
He goes on to say that the illegal immigration policy will "absolutely" act as a deterrent.
