A black man gets convicted spends 20-30 years in prison and is then set free after it finally dawns upon the criminal justice system that the man had been wrongly convicted and imprisoned.
Just a few days back, a black man named Sydney Holmes was freed after serving 34 years in prison for a crime he did not even commit!
He has joined a long list of the black people who had been wrongfully imprisoned and whose lives were torn apart.
