Cyclone Biparjoy: Astronaut shares pictures of cyclone captured from space station | Oneindia News
As Gujarat braces for Cyclone Biparjoy's landfall today, an astronaut at the International Space Station shared some remarkable visuals of the very severe cyclonic storm from space.
United Arab Emirates astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi took to his Twitter account to post a few pictures of Cyclone Biparjoy over the Arabian Sea.
Over 74,000 people have been evacuated from coastal areas to safer shelters.
The storm is expected to make landfall in Kutch this evening, and orange and yellow alerts have been issued in several districts of Gujarat.
In a dramatic escalation, India successfully thwarted a massive drone attack launched by Pakistan, neutralizing over 500 drones in just 210 minutes. The coordinated assault targeted four Indian states: Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan, and Gujarat. India's advanced air defense systems, including the S-400 and indigenous technologies, were fully deployed to intercept the drones mid-flight. The swift response ensured the majority of threats were neutralized before reaching populated areas, with only a single drone hitting Jammu Civil Airport, causing minimal damage.
