Romanian soldiers build air-raid shelters to protect residents in the eastern Romanian village of Plauru, after drone fragments were found in the area across the border from Ukraine.

The NATO member said fragments of a drone "similar to those used by the Russian army" were found by soldiers in the area in early September.

Villagers say they have got used to the sound of war and fear drones encroaching: "We think about them crashing on a home," says local mayor Tudor Cernega.
