Mourners lay tributes for girl murdered in Croydon
A 17-year-old boy has been charged with the murder of a 15-year-old girl in Croydon, south London.
The update comes a day after a vigil was held for the victim, Elianne Andam, with mourners gathering to lay flowers, light candles and console each other.
The suspect, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is due to appear at youth court, sitting at Croydon Magistrates' Court.
He has also been charged with possession of a knife.
