‘Harry Potter’ Cast Remember Michael Gambon: Daniel Radcliffe, J.K. Rowling & More | THR News Video
The stars of 'Harry Potter' are paying tribute to the late Michael Gambon, who starred as Dumbledore in the mega successful franchise.
Gambon sadly died at the age of 82 on Thursday.
According to a statement from the Irish actor’s family provided to The Hollywood Reporter, Gambon died peacefully in the hospital surrounded by his family after a bout of pneumonia.
John Lithgow is addressing some of the criticism to the actor playing Hogwarts headmaster, Albus Dumbledore, in the upcoming 'Harry Potter' TV series. Lithgow recently told BBC's 'The One Show' that he's "very excited" yet "very intimidated" to be the next actor to take on a role which has been played before in the 'Harry Potter' films by Richard Harris and Michael Gambon in the original films and by Jude Law in the 'Fantastic Beasts' franchise.
