Reeves: Labour govt will strive to end gender wage gap
Rachel Reeves says it would be a "privilege of a lifetime" to be the first female chancellor, adding she wants the next Labour government to make "great strides" in ending the gender wage gap.
In her closing remarks at the Labour Party conference in Liverpool, the shadow chancellor says "we are here, ready to serve, ready to lead and together we can and we will rebuild Britain".

Yvette Cooper has said changes to the immigration system are expected to reduce visas by around 100,000 per year.
