Mel Stride admits migration figures 'are too high'
Work and Pensions Secretary Mel Stride admited net migration figures are "too high" and "unacceptable" after new data shows net migration peaked at 745,000 in the year.
The ONS said figures indicate a slowing of immigration and increasing emigration.
