Covid Inquiry: Evidence hints Treasury was linked to death
When asked if he knew that the Treasury was being referred to as “the pro-death squad,” Prime Minister Rishi Sunak says he “wasn’t aware” his department had been given that nickname.
Mr Sunak adds that it “isn’t a fair characterisation” of those who worked alongside him in the pandemic.
