WWE 'Monday Night Raw' is heading to Netflix and Dwayne Johnson is coming on board!
In a major streaming deal 'Raw' will leave USA Network for Netflix beginning in January 2025, with the streaming giant also set to become the international home of WWE content.
The deal, which is valued at about $5 billion, marks Netflix’s expansion into live events.
It will now stream Raw live every Monday night in the U.S., Canada, U.K. and Latin America with other territories to be added.
A new Ellen DeGeneres stand-up special is coming to Netflix. This marks the veteran comedian and former talk-show host's second special for the streamer. She previously appeared in the 2018 Netflix stand-up special 'Relatable.' The new special will debut later this year. DeGeneres said in a statement, "To answer the questions everyone is asking me- Yes, I'm going to talk about it. Yes this is my last special. Yes, Portia really is that pretty in real life."

Netflix released a Q1 earnings report on April 18, indicating that its number of subscribers jumped 16% year-over-year to reach 269.6 million.
Analysts only expected the streamer to have about 264.2 million subscribers, CNBC reports. .
The company also brought in $9.37 billion in revenue versus analysts' expectations of $9.28 billion. .
However, Netflix said that its membership numbers are no longer the main factor contributing to the company's growth.
As a result, the company will stop providing "quarterly membership numbers or average revenue per user" beginning in 2025, CNBC reports. .
Instead, it will divulge "major subscriber milestones as we cross them.".
Price hikes, terminating password sharing
and offering an ad-supported tier are all tactics that have boosted revenue.
Netflix is also seeking to gain traction within the video game space and recently partnered with TKO Group Holdings to offer WWE on the platform.
