The chief guest for India's Republic Day celebrations in 2024, French President Emmanuel Macron, has unveiled a groundbreaking initiative to foster educational ties between the two nations.
President Macron expressed his determination to achieve a very ambitious target of hosting 30,000 Indian students in France by 2030.
Macron highlighted the launch of a new initiative named ‘French for All, French for a Better Future’, aimed at introducing French language learning pathways in public schools across India.

Earlier this week, the three leaders issued a joint statement condemning what they said was Israel's "egregious" military actions in Gaza and warning that they would take "concrete actions" if Netanyahu didn’t change course.
