Grammy Awards 2024: India wins big as Shankar Mahadevan bags Best Global Music Album Award| Oneindia
It's a proud day for India!
As singers Shankar Mahadevan, Zakir Hussain's fusion band Shakti clinched the award for Best Global Music Album for their latest release 'This Moment'.
The ensemble, featuring guitarist John McLaughlin, vocalist Shankar Mahadevan, percussionist V Selvaaganesh, and violinist Ganesh Rajagopalan, celebrated this grand victory.
Besides Shakti, India’s Rakesh Chaurasia also won two awards — Global Music Performance and Contemporary Instrumental Album.
Country singer Gavin Adcock doesn't believe Beyoncé's Grammy-award winning album 'Cowboy Carter' should be called country.
