Due to cutbacks, the force is stretched quite thin, so in an attempt to allocate resources, and to alert criminals of the optimal time period in which they are free to commit crime, the chief of police announced that during the hours between 3AM and 7AM there will only be 27 officers for the entire city of more than 300 thousand people.
