The Ministry of External Affairs issued a robust response on Tuesday to China's recent assertions regarding Arunachal Pradesh, dismissing them as "absurd".

The spokesperson, Randhir Jaiswal, emphasised that Arunachal Pradesh is and will remain an integral and inalienable part of India.

This statement from the MEA follows closely on the heels of remarks made by the Chinese military just two days prior, asserting that Arunachal Pradesh belongs inherently to China's territory.
