Ukrainian FM Dmytro Kuleba Set to Visit India, Seeks Support for Peace Summit | Oneindia News
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba is expected to visit India later this month for discussions with Indian officials, seeking support for a peace summit.
His first trip since the Russia-Ukraine conflict began, Kuleba plans to engage with Indian Foreign Minister Dr. S Jaishankar and co-chair an inter-governmental commission meeting.
Russia has flatly denied any agreement on an air ceasefire with Ukraine, with Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov declaring “no deals have been reached.” The rejection came amid speculation of a temporary truce after the Alaska peace talks with Trump. Instead, Russia intensified its aerial assault, launching nearly 600 drones and 31 missiles overnight on August 28. Kyiv was hit hardest, with hypersonic Kinzhal strikes killing at least 18 civilians, including 12 in Darnytskyi, as the war enters an even deadlier phase.
