Ukrainian forces have reportedly launched multiple missiles targeting civilian infrastructure in the Russian city of Lugansk, according to regional head Leonid Pasechnik.
The attack, occurring late Tuesday night, resulted in significant damage, including a large blaze at an oil depot.
Pasechnik suggested that the missiles used in the assault were likely Army Tactical Missile Systems (ATACMS) provided by Washington.
Emergency services swiftly responded to the scene to contain the fire and provide assistance.
Five individuals working at the facility were hospitalised with moderate injuries.
