A deadly ambush in eastern Khan Younis has left multiple Israeli soldiers dead after Palestinian resistance fighters detonated powerful explosives inside a booby-trapped house. Al-Quds Brigades and Islamic Jihad forces launched coordinated strikes using RPGs, barrel bombs, and the devastating “Thaqeb” device to destroy Israeli armor, including a Merkava tank.
The Israeli military scrambled helicopters for evacuation under heavy fire as reinforcements came under attack. This marks a major escalation in guerrilla-style warfare inside Gaza, with Palestinian factions warning of more complex and lethal operations ahead.

In a dramatic escalation, Israel has launched a wave of devastating airstrikes on six Iranian airfields across western, central, and eastern Iran.
