West Bank Ambushed by Hamas: Two IDF Soldiers Wounded in Shocking Drive-By Attack | Video Out
Two Israeli soldiers were wounded in a drive-by shooting attack on the Route 55 highway in the West Bank on Thursday morning, according to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and medics.
An initial IDF investigation revealed that reservist soldiers on patrol near the Palestinian village of Nabi Ilyas came under fire from a passing vehicle.
A senior Hamas official has called on Palestinians in the West Bank to join mass protests this Tuesday in solidarity with Gaza. Abdel Rahman Shadid urged students and citizens to mobilize against what he called Israel’s “ongoing genocide.” The demonstrations follow weeks of Israeli strikes that have reportedly killed over 51,000 people.
