Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has begun a high-stakes three-day visit to North Korea, underscoring deepening military ties between Moscow and Pyongyang amid the Ukraine war. The United States has confirmed it is sending another Patriot air defense system to Ukraine to help the war-torn nation counter Russia's escalating aerial assaults. This decision comes as former President Donald Trump issued a strong statement, bashing Russian President Vladimir Putin for his aggressive military strategy. On July 6, Russian forces launched a calculated drone strike on a military enlistment and recruitment office in Kremenchuk, located in Ukraine's Poltava region.
