A series of mysterious drone sightings have been reported over critical infrastructure in New Jersey, including President-elect Donald Trump’s golf course and military research facilities. Since November 18, witnesses have spotted clusters of drones and even a possible fixed-wing aircraft hovering over sensitive areas like the Picatinny Arsenal and water reservoirs. Law enforcement agencies, including the FBI, are investigating the activity but have stressed there is no immediate threat to public safety. However, officials remain concerned about the nefarious nature of the drone presence, especially around such critical locations. Authorities have restricted drone flights over these areas until later in December.
