In a significant escalation of Russia's military operations in Ukraine, Russian forces have deployed thermobaric weapons, including the TOS-1A Solntsepyok and aerial thermobaric bombs, to target and obliterate Ukrainian defensive positions in the Donetsk region.
The Russian Ministry of Defense released footage showcasing the devastating power of these weapons, which unleash massive explosions capable of destroying fortified structures.
The TOS-1A, a ground-based rocket system, was used to launch a series of strikes against Ukrainian defenses, causing widespread destruction.
The upgraded version, the TOS-2 Tosochka, offers enhanced capabilities, including advanced rockets and mobility.
Alongside these, Russia's use of thermobaric aerial bombs has proven equally destructive, further intensifying the pressure on Ukrainian forces.
