U.S Plane Carrying 205 Deported Indians to Land in Amritsar Today, Punjab Govt to Assist Returnees

A US military aircraft carrying 205 deported Indian immigrants, mostly from Punjab, is set to land in Amritsar this afternoon.

Punjab NRI Affairs Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal criticized the deportations, saying these individuals contributed to the US economy and deserved permanent residency.

The Punjab government has set up counters at the airport to assist the returnees.
