Intense training draws hundreds to Ukraine's Third Assault Brigade
Euronews got rare access to one of Ukraine’s most elite units, the Third Separate Assault Brigade.
At an undisclosed location in the Kyiv region, the trainees are being put into the realistic conditions of raging Russia’s invasion and tasked with planning and executing an assault.

US President Donald Trump has claimed Ukraine could be “crushed very shortly” unless it agrees to peace talks with Russia. In an interview with The Atlantic, Trump said he’s trying to save Ukraine by pushing for negotiations, suggesting Moscow is open to a deal. He criticized Kiev’s stance, especially on Crimea, and hinted Zelensky was tougher to negotiate with than Putin. Meanwhile, Vice President Vance echoed similar concerns, and Secretary of State Rubio warned of the US abandoning talks if delays persist. Trump is also seeking a minerals agreement with Ukraine.

View from Bucha: ‘Peace’ for Russia is when there are no more Ukrainians left alive
Exactly three years ago, in early March 2022, satellite images showed the first mass grave of civilians in Bucha, a town in the Kyiv region. It was on the grounds of the Church of St Andrew, where now there is the Wall of Remembrance for the civilians killed by Russian troops during the occupation.
