'Rust' Trailer: First Look at Alec Baldwin Western Following On-Set Tragedy | THR News Video
The first footage of the film 'Rust' starring Alec Baldwin has been revealed.
The trailer for the indie western was shared on Wednesday, following the film's on-set tragedy in 2021 that claimed the life of director of photography Halyna Hutchins.
'Rust' writer-director Joel Souza has complicated thoughts on his creation, and he says he has "no relationship" with the film's star Alec Baldwin. After several years and an enormous tragedy, 'Rust' will finally be released. Back in 2021, the movie's cinematographer Halyna Hutchins died after she was accidentally shot on set by Baldwin. After much debate, Souza and the cast and crew returned to finish the film. But, quite naturally, Souza says he wishes he never made the film in the first place.
