Well-wishers gather outside Palace following King's hospital
Hundreds of well-wishers expressed their support for the King outside Buckingham Palace on Friday following His Majesty's departure from hospital.
The monarch spent a short period of time in hospital on Thursday after experiencing "temporary side-effects" from his cancer treatment, Buckingham Palace said.

Jo Hamilton, campaigner and former sub-postmistress, is made an Officer of the Order of the British Empire by the Princess Royal at Buckingham Palace. Mrs Hamilton, who was played by Monica Dolan in the drama Mr Bates Vs The Post Office, said being honoured for services to justice by the Princess Royal at Buckingham Palace on Thursday was “wonderful”.
