Thousands Gather in London to Commemorate Victory in Europe Royal Family, Keir Starmer Lead the Way
Thousands of people filled the streets of London to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe (VE) Day.
With a grand military procession, powerful flypast by the Red Arrows, and appearances by the Royal Family, the event was a tribute to the heroes of World War II.
The Prince and Princess of Wales, along with their children, joined King Charles, Queen Camilla, and WWII veterans to honor the fallen and celebrate Europe's victory over Nazi Germany.
Ukrainian troops marched alongside British forces in a display of solidarity against Russia's invasion.
The commemorations were a powerful reminder of sacrifice, resilience, and unity in the face of adversity.
A bus mounted the pavement on Victoria Street, central London, at around 8.20am on Thursday, injuring 17 people. Two were treated at the scene, while 15, including the bus driver, were taken to hospital. A witness described the scene, saying: "There was a lot of people...
