53-year-old man charged after Liverpool parade incident
A 53-year-old man, Paul Doyle, has been charged after a car ploughed into a crowd at the end of Liverpool football club’s Premier League victory parade on Monday evening.
Deputy chief constable of Merseyside Police, Jenny Sims, said, "Doyle has been remanded into custody and he will appear at Liverpool Magistrates Court in the morning”.
