This is one of my most ambitious bills.
The Patriot Act, which I'm sure was in the works for years, was submitted to Congress in it's entirety, huge as it was, on October 23rd, only a few weeks after 9/11, and passed in just three days.
That's unheard of in Congress and normally impossible.
So the fix was definitely in to use the excuse of 9/11 to take all our rights and due process away.
It's almost like they were ready for 9/11, what a coincidence.
