The Science Of Incels (With Special Guest, Prof. Brandon Sparks!)
The Incel phenomenon - men who perceive themselves and self-identify as "involuntarily celibate" and are unable to attract romantic or sexual partners - has risen to the top of the international social media agenda.
Some regard incels as a national security risk, with sparse but documented incidents of their number committing acts of violence against others - to wit, the infamous Eliot Rodger rampage eleven years ago.
Netflix's drama series "Adolescence" has thrown gasoline onto an already raging media fire, while social media platforms like X, Facebook and YouTube are ablaze with activity surrounding incels, pro and con.
Tensions are running high, with a lot of sound and fury, but very little in the way of a signal cutting through all the noise.
Enter Prof. Brandon Sparks, of Canada's Saint Francis Xavier University, who has been quietly laboring in the trenches trying to better understand who the incels are, what they want, how they think and why.
After eleven years of near hysteria, it's about time somebody's come along to try to bring some sanity to the discourse, LOL - and Prof. Sparks will be my special guest to talk about it TODAY ONLY ON RUMBLE!
