Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor OrbĂĄn has vowed to block the EUâs new budget plan, refusing to support additional funding for Ukraineâs war effort. OrbĂĄn slammed the proposal as a âbudget of hopelessness,â arguing it would harm European farmers, blackmail Hungary, and waste resources on a conflict Ukraine cannot win. He warned that 20â25% of the EUâs upcoming budget would directly go to Ukraine, leaving Europe weaker and divided. India has slammed the European Union's latest round of sanctions that target Nayara Energyâs Gujarat-based Vadinar refinery for its links to Russian oil giant Rosneft. As part of its 14th package of sanctions, the EU blacklisted 105 additional vessels and took aim at Nayara â the first Indian entity to face such direct action.
Brussels aims to throttle Moscowâs wartime funding, but New Delhi has accused the EU of "double standards" and reiterated its stance against unilateral sanctions.
