The Late Show with Stephen Colbert cancelled after 10 years.

The comedian and political commentator announced on his show last night that CBS will cancel the talk show starting in May 2026.

'Next year will be our last season,' Colbert told viewers, '...I am not being replaced.

This is all just going away.'

The news comes just days after the show's host criticized the parent company decision to pay the U.S. president $16 million over a disputed 60 Minute interview with Kamala Harris.

However, CBS mentions in a statement that canceling the show was 'purely a financial decision.'

The Late Show with Stephen Colbert first premiered on September 8, 2015 replacing the time slot from David Letterman, who had hosted The Late Show for 22 years.

Lady Gaga kicks off 'The Mayhem Ball' Tour in Las Vegas.

Mother Monster opened her eighth concert tour at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas this week.

The setlist for 'The Mayhem Ball' features songs from the album Mayhem , as well as some of her past hits, including "Poker Face" and "Born This Way".

The world tour has a total of 45 dates announced, with the final show happening at the Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan in late January, 2026.
