Jimmy Hunt, a former child actor best known for his role in the original Cheaper by the Dozen, dies at 85.

The actor, who appeared in 35 pictures between 1945 and 1953, died in the hospital after experiencing a heart attack six weeks prior.

He is best known for his role in 1950's Cheaper by the Dozen , and as David in 1953's Invaders from Mars.

In 1986, he appeared in the remake of Invaders from Mars in the role of police chief.
