In an unprecedented show of global consensus, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Israel, Pakistan, and Cambodia have all backed U.S. President Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize. Armenia’s Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijan’s Ilham Aliyev jointly credited Trump for brokering a landmark peace deal ending decades of conflict in the South Caucasus, calling him a “peacemaker.” The agreement includes a U.S.-controlled transit corridor — the “Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity” — linking Azerbaijan to its Nakhchivan exclave through Armenia.

Cambodia is set to nominate U.S. President Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize, crediting his pivotal role in negotiating a ceasefire between Cambodia and Thailand after a deadly five-day border conflict. Cambodia’s Deputy Prime Minister Sun Chanthol hailed Trump’s “great efforts for peace,” saying his intervention — including threats to pull out of trade talks — forced both Southeast Asian nations to come to the negotiating table.
The ceasefire, brokered in Malaysia, ended the region’s worst violence in over a decade, which left at least 43 people dead and displaced over 300,000.
