Streeting 'angry on behalf of patients' over doctors' strike
Health Secretary Wes Streeting has condemned the BMA’s five-day strike as “reckless and unnecessary,” saying he and the prime minister are “angry on behalf of patients.” He praised NHS staff, including many resident doctors defying the strike, for cancelling leave to keep services going.

High-caffeine energy drinks will be banned for under-16s in England to prevent harm to children’s health, the Government has said. Health and Social Care Secretary Wes Streeting said eight out of 10 parents wanted to see a ban on the sale of high caffeine energy drinks to children.
