Among the dead is veteran correspondent Anas al-Sharif, along with journalist Mohammed Qreiqeh, cameramen Ibrahim Zaher and Moamen Aliwa, and assistant photojournalist Mohammed Noufal. Al Jazeera accused Israel of deliberately attacking the press, calling it another blatant assault on press freedom.
