Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni drew huge applause in Rimini as she blasted Israel for the “unjustifiable killing” of five journalists in a Gaza hospital strike.

Condemning the attack as an assault on press freedom and innocent lives, Meloni warned that Israel’s war has gone “beyond proportionality” and caused too many civilian deaths.
