A new poll shows Benjamin Netanyahu’s government teetering on the edge as 62% of Israelis say the leadership has lost the public’s confidence.
The results come amid intensifying protests across Tel Aviv, where families of hostages and ordinary citizens are demanding an immediate deal with Hamas to bring their loved ones home.
While 26% of Israelis want an urgent partial deal to save hostages in deteriorating condition, 46% back a full ceasefire agreement that would end the war in Gaza altogether.
Only 18% believe the fighting should continue, regardless of the hostages’ fate.
With public rage spilling into the streets and international pressure mounting, Netanyahu faces the most precarious moment of his political career.
The poll suggests a nation deeply divided, yet united in one belief: the prime minister’s time may be running out.
Iran has lashed out at Israel over its deadly airstrikes on Yemen’s capital, Sana’a, branding them “war crimes” and vowing revenge. The strikes, which hit military compounds, fuel depots, and power stations, reportedly killed two and injured 35. Israel claims the Houthis used civilian infrastructure for military purposes, while Iran accuses Tel Aviv of escalating regional tensions. With the Houthis launching dozens of missiles and drones at Israel since March, fears of an all-out Iran-Israel confrontation are intensifying.
