Howrah railway station is a railway station located in the city of Howrah, West Bengal, India. It is the oldest and largest railway complex in India. Along with being the busiest railway station in India, it is also one of the busiest and largest train stations in the world. Howrah is one of five intercity train stations serving the Kolkata metropolitan area, the others being Sealdah, Santragachi, Shalimar and Kolkata railway station.
