Thursday, 29 May 2025 () [allAfrica] Johannesburg -- When the presidency of the Group of 20 rotated to South Africa last year, the government quickly embraced the opportunity to highlight the country's assets and advocate for an 'African agenda'. In November, leaders of G20 members - 19 of the largest developing and developed countries and the European Union and Africa Union - will convene in Johannesburg for the two-day annual summit - for the first time on the African continent.
