Temasek seeks partnerships to deploy $5 billion a year in India

Singapore’s Temasek Holdings plans to invest up to $5bn annually in India, with intentions to hire around four or five new investment professionals to add to its existing 20-person team in the country, according to Ravi Lambah, the head of investment group for Temasek India. The firm is considering deploying capital through partnerships and public equities, focusing on banks, healthcare, technology, the consumer and industrial sectors.
