Qatar signs 27-year gas supply deal with France's Total
Wednesday, 11 October 2023 Qatar has agreed to supply French energy company TotalEnergies with natural gas for 27 years, according to QatarEnergy. Under the deal, Qatar will supply 3.5 million tonnes of gas annually. This agreement follows two previous agreements between Qatar and TotalEnergies regarding Qatar's North Field gas expansion project. Qatar's energy minister, Saad Al-Kaabi, stated that the agreements demonstrate Qatar's commitment to the European markets.
