Markets rebound after three days of fall on optimism in global equities

Equity benchmark indices rebounded after a three-day decline, thanks to the recovery in global markets and buying in HDFC Bank following its quarterly earnings report. The BSE Sensex rose by 0.39% to settle at 66,428.09, while the Nifty gained 0.40% to reach 19,811.50. Key gainers among the Sensex firms included Power Grid, Kotak Mahindra Bank, and Infosys.
