Praxair India sets up new air separation unit in Hyderabad

Praxair India, a subsidiary of Linde, has begun commercial production at its air separation unit (ASU) in Patancheru, Hyderabad. The facility will produce 250 tonnes per day of gases, including medical oxygen, nitrogen, and argon, to meet the needs of the healthcare, pharmaceutical, and industrial sectors in the region. The ASU was completed within 18 months, despite challenges with importing critical equipment.
