Manipal Hospitals receives prestigious Guinness world records certificate

IndiaTimes Tuesday, 31 October 2023
Manipal Health Enterprises (MHE) has received a Certificate of Recognition from the Guinness World Records for achieving the most number of pledges to learn Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) in 24 hours. The initiative, called 'Guardians of the Heart', aims to educate and inspire people to learn CPR and save lives. More than 22,000 online registrations were done as part of the activity. Only 2 percent of Indians are currently aware of CPR, making this initiative crucial in raising awareness about emergency life-saving procedures.
