Godfrey Phillips India Q2 profit down 8.5 percent to Rs 163 crore

Cigarette manufacturer Godfrey Phillips India Ltd reported a 8.51% decrease in its consolidated net profit, which stood at Rs 163.01 crore for the second quarter that concluded on September 30, 2023. In the same period a year ago, the company had reported a net profit of Rs 178.19 crore, as per a regulatory disclosure by Godfrey Phillips India. Shares of Godfrey Phillips India were trading at Rs 2,178 apiece on BSE, down 7.18 per cent from the previous close.
