Aegon Life launches ‘scan & buy’ term policy

Aegon Life has introduced two new innovations in the term insurance market. The first is a plan called Akhil Bharat, which can be purchased by scanning a QR code and automatically populates the insured's details using their Aadhaar number. The company also uses facial recognition technology for underwriting. The second innovation is a high-value term insurance plan on a unit-linked insurance platform.
